a comprehensive elimination diet ( compliments of true north health center 2008)
The comprehensive elimination diet is a dietary program designed to clear the body of foods and chemicals you may be allergic
or sensitive to, and at the same time, improve your body's ability to handle and dispose of these substances. It has been my experience, in years
of scanning bodies energetically, sensing disease, that many (if not all) of our health problems are environmental: what we put into our
bodies: eat, breathe, read, plays a significant role in our health and general well-being.
Symptoms that you may not consider allergy related, can be an inflammation that is causing your joints to ache, fatigue, inertia.
This diet asks you to remove certain foods, and food categories from your diet. The main rationale behind the diet is that these modifications
allow your body's detoxification machinery, which may be overburdened or compromised, to recover and begin to function efficiently again.
This cleansing diet is only for three weeks. After that, you slowly begin to re-introduce foods back into your diet. You will know immediately
if they are foods that you are sensitive to.
